Fire Damage Clean Up - Smoke & Odor Removal NH

Nothing in life can be quite as traumatizing as a fire. Whether it’s your home or place of business, when a fire occurs you need the compassionate professionals at Burke Emergency Restoration on the scene as quickly as possible. From the moment we enter your property we get to work cleaning, sanitizing and restoring all affected areas. Our goal is to bring your property back to life as usual.

Fire and smoke damage can be an emotionally overwhelming experience. Attempting to clean up fire damage yourself is not recommended as it can cause significant health issues to the occupants and potentially further damage the surfaces being cleaned. Burke Emergency Restoration technicians are trained to respond rapidly to your fire and smoke damage emergency. Our goal is to return your fire damaged home to as close to its original condition as possible.

Fire damage cleanup, soot removal, smoke & odor removal, pack out & board up of damaged residence or storefront services are available 24 hours 7 days a week in our New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine service areas. Burke Emergency Restoration is located in Manchester NH and typically services customers within a one hour drive of Manchester.

Our comprehensive fire damage restoration process includes:

  • Assessing the damage: Once on site, Burke ER technicians assess the fire, soot, smoke and water damage. This allows us to determine the necessary equipment to begin the restoration process and to bring in other professional services as required. This can include electricians, plumbers and other contractors

  • Contents cleaning/inventory: Burke ER technicians will assess what items can be salvaged and what needs to be disposed. They inventory and restore salvageable items which can be stored onsite or moved to a remote facility. All soft contents can be cleaned at our facility using our proprietary Esporta™ Wash System which removes over 99.9 % of contaminants.

  • Board-up services: After a fire, windows and doors can be non-functioning. Burke ER can board up the structure to ensure safety and prevent vandalism.

  • Water removal/drying: Water used to extinguish the fire can cause extensive damage. Burke ER professionals set up drying equipment to remove all excess water and moisture.

  • Soot and smoke removal: Smoke and soot can cause significant damage to the affected structure and contents. The Burke ER team can remove residual soot and smoke damage from walls, floors and ceilings using specialized cleaning techniques. Odors are removed using ozone generators, hydroxyl generators or foggers and sealing of affected structure.

  • Sanitization and cleaning: Once all soot, dust and debris and odor is removed, Burke ER technicians perform a final clean and sanitization so the structure is properly prepared for any necessary re-build.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

Lastly, immediately after a fire occurs, don’t trust “fire chasers” who randomly appear at your door stating that they have been sent by your insurance company.  Instead, call your insurance representative for a list of their approved restoration vendors to ensure the integrity of their work.
